Learn through reading
Wednesday, August, 31, 2016
Greetings and hello and all that. It is time for another post for the week.
I always say that learning through something that is not only of interest, but was created by natives is the way to go. Media like TV, books, and in this case: games are all good ways. I particularly like media that involves reading as you get to develop both reading and spelling skills as well. A lot of this media is written in ways where characters speak in a more natural tone, so you can be exposed to all kinds of language.
Anyway, this is the conclusion concluding the post of the week. As always, the difficult words have been emphasized in a way that appears just like this. That is the end of this chapter.

Historical places
Wednesday, August, 24, 2016
Greetings and hello and all that. It is time for another post for the week.
So the topic that will be introduced today is that of historical places, namely the castles. So, they are always fun to look at, but learning about the topic is a good way to become accustomed to vocabulary that you wouldn’t ordinarily see. If the place is good, a lot of things inside have information in multiple languages, so it is a good place to start. So try heading out to some of these famous places for the scenery as well as the information.

Slogans
Wednesday, August, 17, 2016
Greetings and hello and all that. It is time for another post for the week.
So the key point today is a word we use that is slogan. This is an expression, typically used in advertising, that has a way of standing out to people and is very memorable. Japan tends to do a lot of advertising, some of which is in English, although not always correct or sometimes nonsensical. However, I visited the US and saw more slogans and they were interesting to see as they are correct. One such slogan was on a chicken box. “Love that chicken” is simple and easy to remember. Look for slogans if you are abroad.
Anyway, this is the conclusion concluding the post of the week. As always, the difficult words have been emphasized in a way that appears just like this. That is the end of this chapter.

Opportunity costs
Wednesday, August, 10, 2016
Greetings and hello and all that. It is time for another post for the week.
So, there are many methods of transportation. Of great interest is the fact that bicycles are very prevalent in Asian countries, particularly Japan. In the countryside, there are even large places to store them. The phrase opportunity cost comes to mind when thinking about different methods of transportation and choosing personal transportation. The phrase opportunity cost means some kind of good and bad point are associated with a decision. For instance, a bicycle is cheap, but can be inconvenient, particularly in poor weather. A car has more conveniences, but has a lot of expense. This kind of balance is an interesting thing to be considered in making all kinds of decisions.

Reading practice about history
Wednesday, August, 03, 2016
Greetings and hello and all that. It is time for another post for the week.
Kind of an extension of what was written about last time, another reason for doing English study is that a lot of places seem to only have the country’s native language and English as a side language. Occasionally other countries’ languages are in there, but a lot of things I have seen do not seem to that. A very good way to challenge yourself is to just try your best to read what is there and try to learn the history of whatever it is you are looking at. Go for broke.
Anyway, this is the conclusion concluding the post of the week. As always, the difficult words have been emphasized in a way that appears just like this. That is the end of this chapter.
