Well, learning is all about motivation. If one feels motivation, it’s a beautiful thing that allows for rapid development. If one doesn’t feel it, then progress will be slow if not impossible.

So, there was a performance I attended which is called rakugo, although in English it has no real translation, so we just use the same word. I think the performance is a great method of motivation as this was an English rakugo. The performers were all wanting to do their best with the language and that is a good factor of motivation.

The lesson is find something that drives your motivation. Creative arts or whatever.

I am all for taking notes as one’s own method of writing is generally better and more preferable than methods that are provided by others. When taking long notes, stenography can come in handy. Just be sure that the methods used make sense and will continue making sense to you in the future as nothing is worse than losing progress on all that hard work.

So, in the store, I saw an interesting note book that tried conveying a message that it is good for arranging notes, but the wording is very off (see the photo). I also don’t see why “fold up” is necessary to say.

Correct would be something like: “Horizontally-ruled line notebooks are ideal for arranging sentences.”

So, everyone knows that learning a language in the classroom alone is no good. You need something to help stimulate the process. The media is a great way to do so as there are plenty of movies, books, and, as featured today, games. As long as there is plenty of text to go through and study, it is useful. It’s especially useful if there is a corresponding version in your own language to compare it with.

So, there are mascots all over the place and some of them are interesting, some of them are strange, and some of them are very cool. The whole purpose of the mascot is to appeal to folks and get their attention about whatever it is they want to get their attention about.

I saw an interesting mascot of a superior using his fist to come down on his subordinate. I thought it was an interesting message about being the big guy over the little guy. It’s like the authoritative figure of the teacher and student. Although doing such action is not recommended.
