Post Christmas and odd grammar
Wednesday, December, 30, 2015
Hey there everyone and everything. Here I am, yet again. I am reporting yet another Awesome English weekly report for the week.
Well then. The Christmas season is over, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t all kinds of signs and other paraphernalia out there relating to it. The holiday is very commercialized and advertisements are all over the place. Not just in the US, but also in Japan this is also a true fact. However, the charm of many advertisements is that they sometimes have errors.
The error depicted here involves Christmas being a part of speech where “a” is not appropriate. The wording implies there can be many Christmases, but that is not the case in traditional advertising. In this sentence, it would need to be treated as a time expression and thus, “make Christmas” would be acceptable. There is no need to use “a” with time expressions.
Anyway, that concludes what I am going to write about this week. I hope this has been informative. Please remember that all words or phrases that have are considered difficult have been highlighted in the vibrant green highlighting text.

Tape and its many properties
Wednesday, December, 09, 2015
Hey there everyone. Jordan here with another Awesome English weekly report for the week.
So back in the office, we use tape that comes from a spiffy purple dispenser. I see it every day and it just sits upon the desk as the inanimate object it is.
The photo that I took and is being used for this blog post was taken at the office. It is purple and has some black and even some traces of silver on it. The tape is thin and comes on a yellow roll with orange text written on the roll.
When the tape supply starts running low, it can be easily and conveniently replaced with another one. That is a fact that cannot be denied.
Well then, I hope this has been informative and remember that all words or phrases that have been deemed difficult have been highlighted in the glorious green highlighting text.
