Well, it’s that time of the year with colder weather, commercialization, and of course decorations. While not as extravagant in Japan, it’s still a popular time.

One fun thing to do is go out and see the illumination (i.e. displays of lights) in certain places. Some are much bigger than others, of course, so check out your local areas and pamphlets or online.
