Well, one thing about Japan is that a lot more people commute places and bikes are much more popular over here than they are back home. There are even dedicated bike lanes to make it safe and feasible to travel with one. One enjoyable thing to do is ride around on the outskirts of a major town as there is more to see nature-wise and you also won’t be having to stop every 10 seconds for people in the path. You may just find a nice, quiet spot out there that’s not too far to reach by bike.
