October mornings at Sunrise Kids International School have a little extra magic in the air! As we welcome the Halloween season, we’ve added something special to our daily morning routine: dancing to our favorite Halloween songs!

Every morning, the children get ready to move, groove, and let their imaginations run wild as soon as the music starts. From spooky little monster moves to silly Halloween dances, our morning routine is filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of adorable dance moves. Some children jump right in, copying the actions and singing along, while others take their time watching their friends before joining the fun in their own way. And, of course, there are always a few little dancers who can’t help but show off their very own creative moves!

What we love most about this routine is that it’s about so much more than just dancing. Music and movement give children a wonderful opportunity to express themselves, develop body awareness and coordination, and build confidence in a fun, relaxed environment. Following the rhythm, remembering simple actions, and moving together also help strengthen their listening skills and encourage them to engage with one another.

Our morning dance is also a lovely way to bring everyone together and create a positive start to the day. No matter how sleepy they might feel when they first arrive, a familiar tune and a few silly dance moves can quickly turn the morning into a joyful celebration! Watching the children grow more comfortable, participate more confidently, and express their personalities through movement is one of the sweetest parts of our daily routine.
